Directions
- Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Pasta: Boil the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Cook Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and sauté until they turn pink and opaque, about 3–4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- Make Sauce: Pour white wine (or chicken broth) into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice, zest, and heavy cream, bringing the sauce to a gentle simmer.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing until evenly coated in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble Bake: Transfer the pasta mixture to the prepared baking dish. Arrange the cooked shrimp evenly on top.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella over the pasta and shrimp.
- Bake: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving.
