The detective explained that the property transfer had been manipulated. Documents had been forged. An attempt had been made to move ownership into a trust linked to Veronica.
Jason insisted it was impossible. That Veronica had bought the house. That Emily was mistaken.
But the records did not agree.
Financial trails. Emails. Signatures.
Evidence.
For the first time, certainty cracked.
Emily confirmed everything calmly. She had purchased the home. She had not authorized any transfer. And she would pursue legal action.
