- 4 cups (400 g) penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) butter
- 2 tablespoons (16 g) flour
- 2.5 cups (600 ml) milk
- 1 cup (240 g) sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 16 oz (450 g) sauerkraut, rinsed and well-drained
- 3 cups (300 g) Swiss cheese, grated (set aside half for layering)
