  • 03 1/2 cup diced purple onion
  • 04 1 cup diced cooked beef steak strips
  • 05 5 oz white Cheddar cheese, cut into 10 cubes
  • 06 5 slices bacon

Steps

Step 01

Heat 2 inches of canola oil to 375°F.

Step 02

Flatten each biscuit dough piece and place a mixture of cooked beef, diced onion, and a cube of white cheddar cheese in the center.

Step 03

Fold dough over the filling to completely enclose. Pinch the edges to seal tightly.

Step 04

Wrap each sealed biscuit ball with a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick if necessary.

Step 05

Carefully place the prepared balls into the heated oil and fry until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes.

Step 06

Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil. Serve warm.
