Oven-Baked Turkey Wings

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a large baking dish.
  2. Clean the turkey wings thoroughly. Rub all surfaces of the wings with the lemon wedges to infuse a fresh, zesty flavor.
  3. Place the wings in a large bowl or dish. Drizzle evenly with olive oil and ensure each wing is coated.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, seasoning salt, minced onion, minced garlic, paprika, parsley flakes, and poultry seasoning over the wings. Rub the spices into the meat so every surface is well-coated.
  5. Remove the wings from the bowl and arrange them in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  6. In the bowl used for seasoning, add the 2 1/2 cups of broth or water. Stir to collect any remaining spices, then pour this flavorful liquid into the baking dish around the wings.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil or a lid. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the wings are tender and fully cooked.
  8. Periodically remove the wings and baste them with the pan juices to keep them moist and flavorful.
  9. For a golden, slightly crisp skin, uncover the wings during the last 15–20 minutes of baking.
