One-Pot Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta with Garlic Parmesan Sauce

Directions

Step 1: Cook the Chicken

In a large deep skillet or sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Step 2: Sauté the Garlic

In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter.

Step 3: Add Pasta and Broth

Add the pasta, chicken broth, and broccoli florets to the pan. Stir to combine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked al dente and the broccoli is tender.

Step 4: Make the Creamy Sauce

Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and Italian herbs if using. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss everything together until the sauce is creamy, the chicken is warmed, and the pasta is fully coated.

Step 5: Serve

Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot, straight from the pan for a cozy, one-pot meal.
