Directions
- Prepare the espresso coffee and mix it with the cold water. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mascarpone and hazelnut cream (or Nutella). Whisk until smooth and fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone-hazelnut mixture until light and airy.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure they absorb some coffee but do not become soggy.
- Begin assembling the tiramisu in a serving dish: layer soaked ladyfingers at the bottom, then spread a layer of the mascarpone-hazelnut cream on top. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream on top.
- Decorate with a drizzle of hazelnut cream or Nutella. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
- Slice and serve chilled for the ultimate creamy, chocolatey experience.
