Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine taco seasoning mix with refried beans. Spread evenly onto a large serving platter as the first layer.
  2. In another bowl, blend the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Spread this mixture over the refried beans.
  3. Spoon salsa over the cream cheese layer, spreading evenly.
  4. Arrange chopped tomato, green bell pepper, scallions, and shredded lettuce over the salsa layer.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the vegetables.
  6. Garnish with drained sliced black olives.
  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
