How to Make Mississippi Mud Potatoes

  1. Preheat the oven
    Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the ingredients
    Add the diced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, minced garlic, and chopped onion directly to the baking dish. Mix gently to combine.
  3. Add the mayonnaise
    Spoon the mayonnaise over the potato mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated and well combined.
  4. Bake
    Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 1½ hours, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the top is lightly golden.
  5. Serve
    Serve hot straight from the oven and enjoy every creamy, cheesy, bacon-filled bite.
