Mississippi Chicken

Directions

  1. Spray a large crockpot with non-stick cooking spray or use a crockpot liner.
  2. Place diced onions in the bottom of the crockpot, then add chicken breasts on top.
  3. Sprinkle the au jus and ranch packets evenly over the chicken.
  4. Add pepperoncini peppers, place pats of butter randomly over the chicken, and pour the pepperoncini juice on top.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 4–5 hours or on low for 6–7 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  6. Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to combine before serving, if desired.
