Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 23×23 cm (9×9-inch) baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. For the brownie base, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Allow to cool slightly. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the butter mixture until smooth. Stir in chopped Milky Way bars.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over the brownie batter.
  6. Top with the remaining brownie batter, gently spreading to cover the cheesecake layer.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cooled brownies and slice into squares for serving. Optional: top with additional chopped Milky Way bars or a sprinkle of sea salt.
