Directions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 23×23 cm (9×9-inch) baking pan with parchment paper.
- For the brownie base, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Allow to cool slightly. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the butter mixture until smooth. Stir in chopped Milky Way bars.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over the brownie batter.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, gently spreading to cover the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the cooled brownies and slice into squares for serving. Optional: top with additional chopped Milky Way bars or a sprinkle of sea salt.
