Malted Milk Toffee Crunch Ice Cream

Directions

  1. Prepare the Base:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, malted milk powder, and vanilla extract until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. The malted milk powder gives a rich, nutty flavor reminiscent of classic malted candies.
  2. Chill the Mixture:
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the mixture is thoroughly chilled. Chilling ensures a smoother ice cream texture during churning.
  3. Churn the Ice Cream:
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20–25 minutes. The mixture will thicken and become creamy.
  4. Add Toffee Crunch:
During the last few minutes of churning, fold in the toffee bits so they are evenly distributed throughout the ice cream, adding a delightful crunch in every bite.
  5. Freeze & Serve:
Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
  6. Enjoy:
Scoop into bowls or cones and savor the creamy malt flavor with crunchy toffee surprises in every bite.
