Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic, egg, cumin, salt, pepper, lemon zest, rosemary, and grated onion. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Press lightly to ensure they hold together.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the lamb patties on the hot grill. Cook for 4–5 minutes on the first side, then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes for medium doneness. Adjust time if you prefer your burgers more or less cooked.
- Remove patties from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
- Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, feta, or tzatziki.
