Lamb Burgers

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic, egg, cumin, salt, pepper, lemon zest, rosemary, and grated onion. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Using your hands, shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Press lightly to ensure they hold together.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the lamb patties on the hot grill. Cook for 4–5 minutes on the first side, then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes for medium doneness. Adjust time if you prefer your burgers more or less cooked.
  5. Remove patties from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
  6. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, feta, or tzatziki.
