Krispy Kreme Peach Cobbler

Instructions

1. Peachy Filling:

  • In a medium saucepan, combine frozen peach slices, ½ cup brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes until peaches are soft.

2. Thickening the Mixture:

  • Dissolve cornstarch in a small splash of water.
  • Gradually add to the peach mixture, stirring continuously until thickened.

3. Creamy Donut Bath:

  • In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, evaporated milk, eggs, and ¼ cup brown sugar.
  • Cut Krispy Kreme donuts into bite-sized pieces and soak in the cream mixture for about 5 minutes.

4. Layering the Dessert:

  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread the peach mixture evenly at the bottom.
  • Place the soaked donut pieces on top evenly. Add extra peach slices on top if desired.

5. Bake to Perfection:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
