Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken flats dry with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Arrange chicken flats on a lined baking tray in a single layer. Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
- While the chicken bakes, prepare the Hennessy honey sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, Hennessy, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss the baked chicken flats in the Hennessy honey sauce to coat evenly. Return to the oven for an additional 5–7 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- For the mac and cheese, cook macaroni according to package instructions. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Add shredded cheese and stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Mix in cooked macaroni.
- Steam broccoli florets in a steamer basket over boiling water for 4–5 minutes until bright green and tender. Season lightly with salt.
- Plate the Hennessy honey sticky flats with a serving of creamy mac and steamed broccoli. Drizzle any extra sauce over the chicken for extra flavor.
