For the coconut-pecan filling:
- 100 g (1 cup) evaporated milk
- 100 g (½ cup) granulated sugar
- 3 large egg yolks
- 115 g (½ cup) unsalted butter
- 60 g (½ cup) shredded coconut
- 60 g (½ cup) chopped pecans
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
For the frosting:
- 240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
- 30 g (2 tbsp) powdered sugar
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
- Optional: extra toasted coconut for garnish
