Garlic Mushroom Cauliflower Skillet

Directions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Clean and slice mushrooms. Mince the garlic.
  2. Cook the Cauliflower: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cauliflower, season with half the salt and pepper, and sauté 5–7 minutes until tender and lightly browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook the Mushrooms: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Cook sliced mushrooms 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release moisture and turn golden brown.
  4. Add the Garlic: Push mushrooms to the side, add minced garlic, and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Mix into mushrooms.
  5. Combine and Finish: Return cooked cauliflower to skillet. Toss everything together, season with remaining salt and pepper, and add optional spices or herbs. Cook 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Serve: Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with parsley, thyme, or Parmesan if desired, and serve hot.
