Garlic Herb and Cheese Pull-Apart Bread

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Roll out the bread dough into a rectangle, approximately 30x20 cm (12x8 inches).
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into small squares or strips, but do not separate them. Stack or layer the pieces slightly offset to create the pull-apart effect.
  6. Carefully place the prepared dough into the greased loaf pan. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise for 20–30 minutes until slightly puffy.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, pulling apart the pieces to enjoy the gooey, cheesy layers.
