For the cod

  • 500 g fresh cod fillets, cut into strips (1 lb)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (30 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (9 g)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (1 g)
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, 1 g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)

For the cilantro lime sauce

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream (120 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15 ml)
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced (3 g)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (15 ml) + zest of ½ lime
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (8 g)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
