Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and crushed Oreo cookies. Stir until the mixture is evenly moistened and holds together when pressed.
- Press just over half of the Oreo crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan to form the crust. Place the pan in the freezer while you prepare the ice cream layer.
- Remove the ice cream from the freezer and allow it to soften for easier spreading. Stir every 5 minutes until it reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency.
- Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the frozen Oreo crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the remaining Oreo crumbs over the top of the ice cream layer, pressing gently to adhere.
- Cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and return to the freezer. Freeze for several hours, or until the dessert is firm.
- Before serving, remove the dessert from the freezer and let it sit for 10–15 minutes to soften slightly for easier slicing.
- Drizzle each slice generously with hot fudge sauce, and serve immediately.
