Directions
- Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Place them in a large bowl. Add adobo, black pepper, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and the eggs. Mix thoroughly until the wings are fully coated.
- In a separate bowl, place the all-purpose flour. Dredge each seasoned wing in the flour, making sure all sides are coated evenly. Shake off excess flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the wings for approximately 6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- While the wings are frying, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add lemon juice, black pepper, lemon pepper, and honey. Stir and bring to a gentle boil, making sure the butter does not burn. The sauce should turn a vibrant yellow from the lemon pepper. Remove from heat.
- Once the wings are fried, place them in a large bowl or serving dish. Drizzle the hot honey lemon pepper sauce over the wings, ensuring each piece is coated with the sticky glaze.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy. Garnish with extra lemon pepper if desired. Enjoy the combination of spicy, tangy, and sweet flavors in every bite!
