Fried Wing Flats Drizzled With Honey Lemon Pepper

Directions

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Place them in a large bowl. Add adobo, black pepper, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and the eggs. Mix thoroughly until the wings are fully coated.
  2. In a separate bowl, place the all-purpose flour. Dredge each seasoned wing in the flour, making sure all sides are coated evenly. Shake off excess flour.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the wings for approximately 6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. While the wings are frying, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add lemon juice, black pepper, lemon pepper, and honey. Stir and bring to a gentle boil, making sure the butter does not burn. The sauce should turn a vibrant yellow from the lemon pepper. Remove from heat.
  5. Once the wings are fried, place them in a large bowl or serving dish. Drizzle the hot honey lemon pepper sauce over the wings, ensuring each piece is coated with the sticky glaze.
  6. Serve immediately while hot and crispy. Garnish with extra lemon pepper if desired. Enjoy the combination of spicy, tangy, and sweet flavors in every bite!
