Elegant Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears

Directions

Step 1: Prepare the Pears

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice each pear in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the core using a melon baller or small spoon, creating a hollow cavity for the filling.

Step 2: Stuff the Pears

In a small bowl, mix the crumbled blue cheese with chopped nuts, if using. Spoon the mixture into each pear half, pressing gently to fill the cavity.

Step 3: Bake the Pears

Place the stuffed pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the pears are tender but still hold their shape and the cheese is slightly melted.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

Drizzle the baked pears with honey and, if desired, a balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with fresh thyme or rosemary for a fragrant, elegant finish. Serve warm on a bed of arugula or mixed greens.
