Dorito Taco Salad

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes, until the beef is coated and the liquid is mostly absorbed. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large salad bowl, layer the chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, black olives, and red onion.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed Doritos over the top of the salad.
  5. Add the seasoned ground beef evenly over the salad.
  6. Top with sour cream and salsa, if desired. Serve immediately to maintain the Doritos’ crunch.
