Directions

  2. Layer the Cream: Take a glass serving dish and spread the cream mixture evenly across the bottom. Smooth it with a spatula to create an even layer.
  3. Prepare the Ganache: Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Melt using a bain-marie or in the microwave. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each to prevent burning.
  4. Add Cream to Ganache: Stir in the milk cream to the melted chocolate until you achieve a smooth, shiny ganache.
  5. Assemble the Dessert: Pour the ganache over the prepared cream layer, spreading it evenly across the surface.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour to allow it to set and thicken.
  7. Serve: Once chilled and firm, remove from the fridge, slice, and serve. Optionally, garnish with fresh fruit, chocolate shavings, or mint leaves.
