Instructions
- Combine liquids and chocolate:
- In a medium saucepan, combine lime zest, milk, lime juice, full cream, white chocolate, and sugar.
- Heat gently over medium heat, stirring constantly until the white chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Thicken the mixture:
- Gradually add the cornstarch while stirring.
- Continue to heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens to the consistency of pastry cream.
- Finish with mascarpone:
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the mascarpone until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Set the dessert:
- Pour the mixture into a mold or serving dishes.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight to fully set.
Tips:
- For extra lime flavor, sprinkle a little lime zest on top before serving.
- Serve chilled, optionally with crushed biscuits or meringue for added texture.
