Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika if using.
Step 2: Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.
Step 3: Sear the Chicken
Add olive oil to the skillet if needed. Sear the chicken breasts over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Step 4: Make the Sauce
Lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 5: Combine and Finish
Return the chicken and crispy bacon to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and let everything heat together for 2 minutes so the flavors meld.
Step 6: Serve
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta for a comforting, creamy meal.
