Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the boiling pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until the chicken is golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, 3–5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Add the pasta and broccoli and toss until everything is evenly coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to let the flavors combine. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
