Directions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the boiling pasta water. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until the chicken is golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, 3–5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Add the pasta and broccoli and toss until everything is evenly coated in the creamy sauce.
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes to let the flavors combine. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
