Directions

  1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with a fork until light and smooth.
  2. Gradually add the evaporated and condensed milk, whisking with a balloon whisk until fully combined.
  3. Stir in instant coffee, coffee liqueur, and vanilla extract until incorporated.
  4. Pour a small amount of the coffee mixture into the bottom of a serving dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Arrange a layer of Maria cookies on top, then pour more coffee mixture over them.
  6. Repeat layers of cookies and coffee mixture until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of coffee mixture.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Crush 8 cookies in a plastic bag using a glass or rolling pin. Sprinkle the crushed cookies over the top and decorate with chocolate-covered coffee beans before serving.
