Directions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, peas and carrots, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined; the batter will be slightly lumpy.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until dumplings are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool a few minutes; the sauce will thicken as it rests.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
