Cheesy Philly-Style Ground Beef Breakfast Casserole

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully crumbled, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the sliced green bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes until the vegetables become tender and fragrant.
  4. Season the beef and vegetable mixture with seasoned salt and stir to combine evenly. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy whipping cream until smooth and lightly frothy.
  6. Add the cooked beef and vegetable mixture to the egg mixture and stir gently to combine.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  8. Arrange the provolone cheese slices evenly over the top of the casserole.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
  10. Let the casserole cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
