Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil and butter together in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted and starts to foam slightly, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken strips to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried oregano. Stir well so the chicken is evenly coated with the garlic butter and spices.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and lightly golden on the outside. The chicken should be juicy and tender, not dry.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken. Cover the skillet for 1–2 minutes, just until the cheese melts into a gooey, creamy layer.
  5. While the cheese melts, warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave so they’re soft and easy to wrap.
  6. In a small bowl, mix sour cream (or yogurt), mayonnaise, and lemon juice if using. This adds a fresh, creamy contrast to the rich filling.
  7. Spoon the cheesy garlic chicken mixture down the center of each tortilla. Drizzle lightly with the sauce if desired.
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly into a wrap. Serve immediately while warm and cheesy.
