- Form the dough into a ball, cover, and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 9 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
- Roll out each piece of dough and fill with jam, forming a neat roll.
- Place the rolls into a greased 20 cm (8-inch) baking pan and let them rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Brush the rolls with egg wash.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool slightly before serving.
