Best Delicious and Easy Chicken

Directions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. While it warms, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried herbs.
  2. Add olive oil to the hot skillet. Once shimmering, place the chicken breasts in the pan. Sear for 5–6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F).
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate, covering lightly with foil to keep warm.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly reduced.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes so the flavors meld together.
  7. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with pan sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
