Directions

- If using fresh chicken, cook on high for 3–4 hours or low for 7–8 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, check the chicken for tenderness. The meat should pull apart easily with a fork and have an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: remove the chicken and reduce the sauce on high heat for 10–15 minutes if you prefer a thicker, more concentrated flavor.
- Serve hot, spooning the flavorful beer-infused sauce over the chicken.
