Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken (Optional but Recommended)
Place chicken in buttermilk and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for extra tenderness. - Prepare the Breading Station
In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, add breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes. - Bread the Chicken
Remove chicken from marinade and let excess drip off.
Coat in flour mixture, then press into breadcrumbs until fully covered. - Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket lightly with cooking spray. - Air Fry
Arrange tenders in a single layer. Lightly spray tops with oil.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). - Make the Sauce
Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce (if using), and chili flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. - Toss or Drizzle
Toss hot tenders in sauce or drizzle over the top before serving.
