  • Salt (about 1 teaspoon / 5 g)
  • Black pepper (½ teaspoon / 1 g)

For the Mushroom Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons (28 g / 1 oz) butter
  • 2 cups (200 g / 7 oz) sliced mushrooms (cremini or button)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (3 g)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) beef broth
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (4 g) fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes

  • 4 large potatoes (about 2 lb / 900 g), peeled and cubed
  • ½ cup (120 ml) milk, warmed
  • 3 tablespoons (42 g / 1.5 oz) butter
  • Salt (1 teaspoon / 5 g, or to taste)
  • Black pepper (½ teaspoon / 1 g)
