Ingredients
For the pasta shells:
- 12–15 jumbo pasta shells
- 450 g (16 oz) ricotta cheese
- 225 g (8 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 60 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 150 g (5 oz) fresh spinach, chopped (or 100 g frozen, thawed and drained)
- 1 large egg
- 5 ml (1 tsp) garlic powder
- 5 ml (1 tsp) dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the sauce:
- 720 ml (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 120 ml (½ cup) water
- Optional: extra mozzarella and Parmesan for topping
