Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons icing sugar (powdered sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 1/4 cups (280 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Custard Filling:

  • 2 cups (480 ml) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) margarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
