Ingredients
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or beef broth (120 ml)
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce (120 ml)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce (60 ml)

- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Beef Lo Mein:
- 16 ounces lo mein noodles (450 g)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (15 ml)
- 2 pounds flank steak, skirt steak, or flap steak, cut against the grain into 1-inch strips (900 g)
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt (10 g)
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper (5 g)
- 2 cups snow peas (120 g)
- 1 cup carrots, cut into matchsticks or shredded (120 g)
- 1 cup bean sprouts (60 g)
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded or thinly sliced (200 g)
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions (50 g)
