  • 01 1 large crusty bread bowl (sourdough or artisan round)
  • 02 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 03 1/2 cup crab meat
  • 04 1/2 cup scallops

  • 05 2 tablespoons butter
  • 06 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 07 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 08 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 09 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 10 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 11 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 13 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 14 Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

Step 01

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Step 02

Cut the top off the bread bowl and hollow out the center. Toast the hollowed bread in the oven for 8–10 minutes.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.

Add shrimp and scallops, cook until just opaque. Stir in crab meat and heat through.

Step 05

Lower heat and pour in heavy cream. Add cream cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

Step 06

Stir in half of the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

Step 07

Spoon the seafood mixture into the toasted bread bowl. Top with remaining cheese.

Step 08

Bake the filled bread bowl for 12–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Step 09

Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

  • If using frozen seafood, thaw and drain well before cooking to avoid excess moisture.
