Ingredients:
- 1 lb frozen French fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced beef steak
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup cheese whiz optional
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
- Bake French fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden.
- While fries are baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the steak slices, seasoned with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
- Add the cooked steak back to the skillet with the vegetables and stir to combine.
- Once fries are done, place them on a serving dish. Top with the steak and vegetable mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the top and dollop with cheese whiz if using.
- Place under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
