Mint Chocolate Fudge

Directions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract. Add a few drops of green food coloring if desired and mix well.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer.
  7. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the white chocolate into the dark chocolate to create a marbled effect.
  8. Pour the remaining dark chocolate mixture over the marbled layer and spread evenly.
  9. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top for a festive touch.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  11. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge from the pan, cut into squares, and serve.
