Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon

Directions

  1. Cut the bacon slices into thirds.
  2. Tightly wrap one piece of bacon around each little smokie, placing the seam side down in a 13×9-inch glass baking dish. Repeat with remaining sausages.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the wrapped smokies, making a thin layer over all. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Remove the cover and bake the little smokies for 40–50 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the brown sugar has caramelized deeply.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
