Homemade Bounty Bars (Coconut Chocolate Bars)

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut and powdered sugar until evenly mixed.
  2. Add the coconut condensed milk to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick, sticky batter forms.
  3. Lightly wet your hands to prevent sticking and shape the mixture into small logs, approximately 4 inches (10 cm) long.
  4. Place the formed logs on a parchment-lined plate and freeze for 10 minutes to firm up slightly.
  5. While the coconut logs are chilling, melt your chocolate using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Using two forks, dip each coconut log into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
  7. Place the coated bars on a lined plate and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, about 10–15 minutes.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
