Hershey’s Cocoa Fudge

Instructions

  1. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring continuously to prevent scorching.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts (if using).
  5. Let the mixture cool for 5–10 minutes, then beat with a wooden spoon until slightly thickened and glossy.
  6. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Let it cool completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator until firm.
  8. Cut into squares and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
