Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp Butter

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prep the Shrimp:
Pat shrimp very dry with paper towels and add to a large mixing bowl This helps you get a beautiful golden sear

Coat the Shrimp:
Sprinkle shrimp with flour paprika cayenne salt and black pepper Toss with your hands until every piece is evenly coated and no dry pockets remain

Cook the Garlic:
Melt butter with olive oil in a wide nonstick skillet over medium heat Add garlic and sauté for just half a minute Stir constantly and watch closely so the garlic turns fragrant without browning This step creates a deep savory base

Sear the Shrimp:
Lay shrimp in the skillet in a single layer Do not crowd or they will steam instead of sear Cook shrimp for two minutes on one side Let them turn golden on the edges Flip each shrimp and cook another two minutes until the color is pink and they look opaque inside

Finish and Serve:
Once shrimp are just cooked remove skillet from heat Squeeze in fresh lemon juice then toss gently to coat Garnish with parsley for a fresh green touch Serve right away with plenty of butter sauce spooned over every piece
