Delicious and Wholesome Shrimp and Chicken Recipes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
Cut the chicken into small, even pieces so they cook quickly. Peel and devein the shrimp if not already prepared. Pat both dry with paper towels to help them brown nicely.
  2. Season the Chicken
Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and onion powder. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Cook the Chicken
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Cook the Shrimp
Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the same skillet. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes, turning once, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
  5. Make the Garlic Sauce
Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to loosen any flavorful bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Combine Everything
Return the chicken and shrimp to the skillet. Toss gently in the sauce and cook for another 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the savory lemon-garlic sauce.
  7. Finish with Fresh Herbs
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and lemon zest just before serving for a bright, fresh flavor.
