Decadent Chocolate Wacky Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  3. Make a well in the center and pour in the oil, water, vanilla extract, and white vinegar.
  4. Stir until the batter is smooth and creamy, with no lumps remaining.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before frosting.
  8. For the frosting, combine powdered sugar, milk, cocoa powder, honey, butter, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  9. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake. Slice into squares and serve.
