Crockpot French Onion Chicken and Rice

Directions

  1. Coat the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot. Add the sliced onion, French onion soup, rice, beef broth, and Lipton Onion Soup mix. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  4. About 15–20 minutes before serving, add shredded mozzarella and provolone cheeses along with the fried onions. Cover and cook until the cheeses have melted.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy as a hearty, cheesy one-pot meal.
