Instructions
- Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and place it on a plate lined with paper towels. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the pan. - Sauté the Onion and Garlic
Add the diced onion to the same pan and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant. - Add the Potatoes
Add the diced potatoes to the pan and stir them with the onion mixture. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing them to begin browning slightly. - Add the Green Beans
Stir in the fresh green beans and mix well with the potatoes. - Season the Dish
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and black pepper over the vegetables. Pour in the chicken broth and stir everything together. - Simmer Until Tender
Cover the pan and let the mixture simmer over medium-low heat for 15–20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the green beans are cooked through. - Add Bacon Back
Return the crispy bacon to the pan and stir to combine. If desired, add a tablespoon of butter for extra richness. - Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
